Digs: Our own Beth and Edie

Two rare birds

Two rare birds

This woman is everything. It's of the highest delights to be able to step inside her California Victorian flat and feel the poetic and cozy space she has created for herself and Edie. Through thick and thin, Beth illuminates. She is a beacon of curiosity and gratitude (she has been since we met at age 10). Her home resonates this thoughtful, loving luminosity of hers- we'd do just about anything to be there with them right now in the #boburbswest! Click for the tour as shot by Marissa Rocke.....come on in to the world of Nouveau Nonchalance!

In the early '90's, Beth had the coolest shrine pinned and framed in her closet (candles for Kurt, stacks of mixed tapes, dried corsages, ironic ransom-note-looking clips from 'zines, and goofy polaroids). Her ceiling was decorated with a tent-like sheet, pinned with thumbtacks and billowing from above. We were just kids, but her eye for interiors was evolved!! Flash-forward twenty-five more years and the same soulful touch remains- though now we see a woman who has lived and loved, a mother who nurtures, and a friend who inspires. Take a look around Beth's bohemian Sacramento home.
