We LOVE Indego Africa x Target!

Our friends at Indego Africa have just launched their adorable print-happy Summer collection for Target. This is a collaboration we can get behind with heart and soul! Each piece is hand-sewn by one of the talented ladies of Umutima Cooperative, a group of 30 seamstresses in Nyamirambo, Rwanda. These women, most of whom are also moms, are creating brighter futures for themselves and their families. Indego Africa is a non-profit design company that partners with women artisans in Rwanda and Ghana to design and create beautifuly-crafted handmade home decor, accessories, apparel and art. All profits are invested into customized education programs for the artisans. Indego Africa showcases the beauty of traditional African artistry, while adding a playful and modern touch and embracing the unique nature of the handmade good.

Indego Africa x Target.com celebrates the joy of childhood by mixing and matching comfort and ease with bright, happy prints. They've created clothes that will take children from the playroom to the park to the party.
